guaranteed 1 year except for spindle bearings and electrics which are guaranteed 60 days
due to factors beyond our control.
REBUILDING & RETROFITTING : The major portion of our personnel are now involved in rebuilding machine tools to new tolerances for some of the larger corporations in upstate New York and northern Pennsylvania. We have also engineered the installation of CNC controls on a number of machines including Blanchard rotary grinders, Pratt & Whitney Triax machining centers, Elb surface grinders, and a 32" x 120" Monarch lathe. Our 5' x 5' x 20' Gray way grinder is holding .00003 per foot. This gives us the capacity to rebuild Bullard VTL'S, horizontal boring mills and DeVlieg Jigmils.
Definitions: The asking price for our used machinery has dropped substantially over this past year! Our machinery is generally priced "re-conditioned" and may be higher than some of our competitor's due to the "value added" as explained below. We typically spend three to five or more days preparing a machine for sale and prefer to sell machinery this way in order to avoid having customer's think they were knowingly sold a "pig in a poke". We will give you an "As Is" price if requested.
As Is!: Machine is sold without any guarantee and work required on the machine is the purchaser's responsibly! However, we will put the machine under power to determine potential problems.
Re-Conditioned: We will disassemble the machine into it's major components, scrape ways once in each direction to improve bearing quality, perform any necessary repairs, change oil and filters, test the machine for tolerances, and guarantee the machine to be in good operating condition! Machine is guaranteed 60 days!
Rebuilt: The ways will be re-ground to new tolerances and mating parts hand scraped to fit with proper bearing quality. The machine will be guaranteed to hold new tolerances. Gear boxes, spindles, hydraulic components are not included in a rebuild unless specified. Guaranteed one year!
Re-manufactured: The machine is 100% disassembled, stripped to bare metal, painted to factory quality. All ways are re-ground to new tolerances and mating parts are hand scraped to fit with proper bearing quality. All bearings, seals, feed screws and nuts, and other parts showing appreciable wear are replaced. Guaranteed one year except electrical and spindle bearings which are 60 days due to factors which are typically beyond our control.
